Coolmax® is a special polyester (synthetic fibre) by Advansa.
The fibre does not absorb moisture. When being on the skin, it removes the moisture away from the surface of the skin. This feature is based on the four channelled structure of the fibre, which makes the area of the fibre 20 % larger than that for normal polyester.
COOLMAX® freshFXTM is a fibre modified  from Coolmax®, in which silver ions have been added to the fibre structure. The silver ions reduce bacterial growth, which prevents the growth of bacteria and smell of sweat to build up on the skin.
The effect is permanent and it stays in the wash.

Our face masks are not personal protective equipment or surgical mouth-nose pads. Face masks do not meet the requirements of the personal protective equipment regulation and do not protect the user against, for example, coronavirus.

When used properly, the fabric mask may protect other people from droplets spreading from the mask's res- piratory tract.
The use of an asymptomatic carrier mask may be use- ful in, for example, vehicles, shops, etc., but there is no scienti c evidence for this. The face mask is not CE marked and does not meet the requirements of the FFP2 / FFP3 protection level.
